Welcome to Decisionz AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We built this app to help you make better decisions — not to harvest your data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

By using Decisionz AI, you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the app.

What you provide

When you use Decisionz AI, you may provide:

• Decision inputs — context, objectives, constraints, background, stakeholders
• Free-text fields — objectives, background notes, constraints
• Voice recordings when using the speech-to-text feature (Premium only)

Voice & audio data

If you use the microphone / speech-to-text feature (Premium):

• Audio is recorded locally on your device and sent to a transcription service
• Raw audio is processed ephemerally — we do not permanently store recordings
• Transcribed text is treated identically to manually typed input
• Microphone activates only when you explicitly tap the record button

You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings. This disables the voice feature only — all other functionality remains intact.

Automatically collected data

• Device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID for AdMob — Freemium users only)
• App usage analytics — screens visited, features used, session duration
• Crash reports and error logs
• IP address and general geographic region
• Operating system version and device model

What we do NOT collect

• Full name, date of birth, or government ID
• Financial information (payments handled by Google Play / Apple App Store)
• Advertising profiles built from your decision content

• Provide and improve AI-powered decision analysis
• Process voice input and return transcribed text to you
• Deliver relevant ads to Freemium users via Google AdMob
• Monitor app performance, diagnose bugs, and fix crashes
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

Decisionz AI uses third-party artificial intelligence services — including OpenAI and/or other AI providers — to analyze your decision inputs and generate results.

When you submit a decision:

• Your structured inputs are transmitted to an AI processing service
• The AI provider may process your data under its own privacy policy
• We recommend not including highly sensitive personal data in your inputs (e.g. medical records, financial account details, legal matters)

Freemium users will see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

To opt out of personalized ads:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable for Decisionz AI

We do not sell your data. We may share data only with:

Service Providers

Third-party vendors who help us operate the app — AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, cloud infrastructure. They are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for contracted services.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

Business Transfers

If Decisionz AI is acquired or merged, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

• Decision inputs are not retained on our servers beyond the active session unless you explicitly save a decision
• Voice recordings are deleted immediately after transcription
• Account data is retained until you delete your account
• Analytics and crash data may be retained for up to 24 months

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Use the app at your own risk and avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information.

Decisionz AI is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. microphone access)

Decisionz AI is operated from France, within the European Union. However, some of the third-party services we use to deliver the app — including AI processing and cloud infrastructure — are hosted outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States.

When your decision inputs are processed by these services, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries that have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and ensure that our third-party providers comply with applicable data protection requirements, including GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
